The basic course in diving is called Open Water, it is the first step to becoming a diver and after that many different paths in diving follow. There is something magically meditative about diving, floating weightlessly and admiring the underwater world. See where the fishermen hide and hear the story of the wrecks.
The course includes theory, pool exercises, swim tests and outdoor dives. Interspersed with this, we go through how the Baltic Sea environment works and how you can best discover the underwater world. You will learn how all the equipment works, how to handle different situations and balance & breathing. Your instructor is with you at every step and you will repeat the exercises several times until you feel comfortable in the water. First, you get access to the digital study material and prepare yourself before you come here. Then the days are filled with theory, pool exercises and at least 4 dives in the Baltic Sea. We do the course in a dry suit and can help you order equipment in the right sizes in good time so you have time to try it on. The course lasts at least 4 days.
Rental of equipment during the course costs SEK 1,000, what is not included in that is your most personal equipment, mask and fins, which you need to have your own. On the first day of the course, we will help you choose a model that fits, we have a dive shop in the house with everything you need!
