  • Minimum age: 12+
  • Min. certification: Open Water Certification required
  • Min logged dives: 4 logged dives required
  • PADI Open Water Diver or qualifying entry-level certification. Last dive within year 2024.

What to expect

The Advanced Open Water Diver course is all about advancing your skills. Available also in eLearning, the first phase of this training is Knowledge Development, which includes lessons on popular specialty dives. In the second phase you'll practice underwater navigation, buoyancy, try deep diving, deploy your SMB and explore wreck.

During the final phase, after some skill practice with your instructor, you'll make five open water dives. There's no exam because this course is truly about having fun and gaining experience. For every specialty dive you complete, you can earn credit toward PADI® specialty certifications.

Meet at the dive center

We are located right in the middle of Coral Bay, Perhentian Islands. We do pickups from nearby beaches; D'Lagoon, Chomel, Mira, Petani, Alunan, Fisherman Village, D'barat, Tunabay. Minimum pax required or additional charges applied for certain drop-off / pick-up. Kindly contact us to discuss more.
