  • Excellent buoyancy control is what defines skilled scuba divers.

Requirements

  • Minimum age: 12+
  • Min. certification: Open Water Certification required
  • Min logged dives: 4 logged dives required
  • PADI Junior Open Water Diver (or equivalent).

What to expect

Buoyancy control is essential to becoming a calm and confident diver. Achieving perfect stability allows you to float effortlessly, use air more efficiently, and expertly approach skittish marine life for a closer look. In the first phase, you will determine how much weight you need and where to place the integrated weights to optimize your body position. Over two dives, you'll fine-tune your weighting during buoyancy checks and master neutral buoyancy by practicing in the water.
