Divi Southwinds Beach Resort

Divi Southwinds Beach Resort is nestled in peaceful gardens, moments from lively St. Lawrence Gap. 

Diving around Barbados offers clear, warm waters, gently sloping reefs and sandy shallows. Keep an eye out for turtles, barracudas, moray eels, man o'war and various macro creatures hidden within the coral.

The resort offers three freshwater swimming pools, poolside cabanas, a fitness center, tennis courts, 9-hole miniature golf course, day spa with hair salon and grocery store. 

Pureocean Beachfront Restaurant & Bar serves Caribbean favourites such as Bajan Flying Fish, combined with international favourites and specialty cocktails starring Mount Gay Rum. 

During a week's holiday, you'll have the chance to explore local beaches, hike cane fields, gullies and tropical forests, go fishing and explore the islands rich cultural history.

Arrival 

• To reach the resort, you can get a taxi from the airport. If you exit the terminal and look for the taxi stand, there will be airport staff there to help you into a taxi with your bags. A public taxi costs approx 25/35 USD and it can't be pre-booked
• The journey takes around 10 to 15 minutes, and you can arrive at any time of day.
• Check in is at 3pm. If you arrive prior to this, you will be able to drop your bags and use the resort facilities until your room is ready. 

Departure

• Check out is 12pm and the best way to get back to the airport is via taxi. The front desk will assist you in calling a taxi.
