Once we receive your booking, we double check availability with the dive operator and reserve your spot

2. CONFIRMATION

We usually get back to you within 24 hours to confirm that your booking is final

3. 48H FREE CANCELLATION PERIOD

You then have 48 hours to take care of other travel arrangements. Your credit card will only be charged after that period

STANDARD CANCELLATION POLICY:

If you cancel 90 days or more prior to arrival date, you will forfeit 25% of the deposit (USD 75); if you cancel between 31 days to 89 days of arrival date, you will forfeit 50% of the deposit (USD 150), within 30 days or less prior to arrival, you may transfer all payments to new dates (travel within 12 months of original travel dates).

New dates are not eligible for any new promotion, and a surcharge may apply due to seasonal rate increases.

Description

Diving just doesn’t get any better, or easier, than when diving from Sand Dollar Dive Friends.

We are the gateway to Bari Reef, a sheltered reef that offers an incredible diversity of marine life. Guests at Sand Dollar enjoy exclusive access to the reef via several entries:  giant stride / stairs from the dock, easy walk in from the sandy beach, and two convenient stairways at the sun decks.

Dive Friends provides all the services necessary, from 24 hour access to tanks on the dock and at the drive thru, a large airy gear room, and wagons to transport your gear.  Boat dives, courses, and numerous tank pick up locations around the island ensure you’re getting the most out of your time on Bonaire.

All divers need to do the mandatory buoyancy check (Marine Park rules) on the house reef of the dive center before they can join the boat dives. This can not be done on the morning of the first boat dive, but needs to be done at least the day before that dive before 3:30pm.

Sand Dollar Condominium Bonaire offers independent vacation living in a diver's paradise! 

Studios, one, two and three bedroom oceanfront apartments are privately owned and professionally managed.  Each condo is fully air-conditioned with comfortable sleeping areas, ensuite bathrooms, and full kitchens. They’re decorated with love, cleaned to high standards, and stocked with every amenity. Parking is directly out front and your private WiFi is fast and reliable. Big porches, often screened, bring the outdoors inside!

Our very large and peaceful property provides the perfect space to relax in solitude. The oceanfront walkway is the jewel of the property and includes multiple sun decks with loungers, outdoor showers and BBQs.  Access the ocean by several easy and convenient stairways, a private dock, and our very own small, sandy beach. Just steps from the shoreline, divers and snorkelers appreciate the beauty and diversity of Bari Reef. A dive shop, two restaurants and a swimming pool complement our facilities.

How to get there

Arrival
 
  • We can organize a pre-arranged taxi (additional charge, advanced notice required) or have your rental vehicle waiting upon arrival at Flamingo International Airport. The drive north through town is about 10 minutes.
  • The Reception Office at Sand Dollar is open daily from 8:00 am – 5pm.
  • If you arrive after the Reception Office has closed, a Security Guard at the Front Entrance will be watching for your arrival and will provide you with your key. 
  • Please be sure we have your accurate flight information so we know when to expect you!
Check-in time is 4 pm.
 
Departure
 
  • Simply drop your key in our Key Box and say good-bye until next time.
  • Check-out time is 11:00 am. Late check-outs are subject to availability.
