Booking process

1. BOOKING

Once we receive your booking, we double check availability with the dive operator and reserve your spot

2. CONFIRMATION

We usually get back to you within 24 hours to confirm that your booking is final

3. 48H FREE CANCELLATION PERIOD

You then have 48 hours to take care of other travel arrangements. Your credit card will only be charged after that period

STANDARD CANCELLATION POLICY: If you cancel more than 30 days before the start of your trip, you will lose 20% of the total booking, 30% for more than 15 days, 50% for more than 6 days, 80% for more than 1 day and 100% if you cancel within 1 day of your trip.

SPECIAL CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) CANCELLATION POLICY: New bookings made from 3 March 2020 until 20 April 2020 can cancel without any penalty (fully refundable) if the following occurs: Guest is diagnosed with COVID-19 (Coronavirus) and has medical evidence to prove as such. Guest’s home country bans travel to Egypt Egypt bans arrivals from the guest’s home country.

In the following cases we will allow a postponement/rebooking of their stay for up to 12 months from the intended arrival date: If the guest does not want to travel due to the current situation and uncertainty. If neither the departure country or Egypt restricts travel but the airline cancels the flight. Postponement will be according to availability and any difference in pricing (either seasonal or otherwise) will be charged as extra.

Since the founding in 1990, Red Sea Diving Safari has grown into a world-class diving destination.

The eco-diving concept has been internationally recognized as a model of tourism development and the villages offer the experience of what has become known as "The Eco-diving Adventure".

As a PADI Diving Centre, the full range of PADI courses are offered and local dive sites are suitable for divers of all levels.

The villages offer guests a variety of diving possibilities including unlimited diving on house reef, truck dives, night dives and boat dives to world-famous dive sites such as Elphinstone and Marsa Abu Dabab.

Resort Description

Marsa Shagra is a lively diving village with one of the most beautiful and well-protected house reefs in the Red Sea region.

The coral reef is home to a wide variety of marine species including corals, fish, reef sharks, turtles, and occasionally dolphins.

It is strategically located to reach many beautiful diving sites including the famous Elphinstone Reef and Marsa Abu Dabab. It is a very convenient base for exploring the ancient ruins of civilizations, observing desert wildlife and meeting the Bedouins of the South.

Marsa Shagra offers different accommodation categories; there is something for everyone's taste and budget.

How to get there

Arrival

  • Private transfer can be arranged by the resort for an additional charge.
  • You will be transferred from the airport (Hurghada or Marsa Alam) to the village.
  • Red Sea Diving Safari driver will meet the guests outside the terminal building.
  • Check in time is at 2pm.

Departure

  • Return rental equipment to the diving center and confirm diving activities with the base leader. 
  • Check out time from the reception is at 12pm;  late checkout until 2pm is free of charge according to availability.
  • Once you have checked out, the driver will escort you to the airport.
