Viani Bay Resort

My husband and I booked 5 nights at the resort and added two more because we loved it so much. The entire staff is warm, welcoming and so friendly. The bed is extremely comfy, the food is perfect and the tropical ambience is very hard to leave, even after an extended stay. Puppies and a cat on property added to the feelings of home away from home. We can’t wait to come back!

My wife and I stayed here for a part of our Honeymoon trip to Fiji, and if we could do it all over again, we may have skipped the other places we went to altogether! We had an incredible, life-changing experience from the absolutely delicious food, to the snorkeling (we’re both total beginners), and the staff (Tom, Matthew, Junior and Lysa, among others were patient and helpful and brought us to incredible spots!) to the peace, privacy, safety, and fun that we had together in this romantic slice of paradise. Marina and her staff were absolutely wonderful, and we felt like a part of the family she has built so quickly that I know for a fact “Bula!” will always bring a warm smile to my face. As a bonus, though perhaps we got lucky, what a fascinating and wonderful group of interesting people that come and go through here- the guests that the coral reefs attract are at least as fun and cool as the fish. :) If your adventures and travels bring you to Taveuni, then just know that the Fiji Dive School Resort is a beautiful gem hidden just across the water, and your trip will be far better for even a single day spent there! The resort also has a salt house where they prepare and create some of the freshest and most delicious sea salt / spice mixes you will ever have! We were so fortunate to be able to take home a dozen or so packages as incredible souvenirs for our friends and family. In addition, every single dessert they made was one of the best I've ever had! I can’t say enough about how my wife and I will never forget our experience here. There were moments that the weather was so perfect, or the view was so breathtaking, or the snorkeling and the fish were so amazing that it felt straight out of a movie or TV show. We called it our own personal Love Island!

We had the most excellent stay at Viani Bay Resort. What a golden location with a beautiful community atmosphere, amazing cabins, wonderful views and the most delicious local healthy meals that will want to make you dance with joy. Sit-down meals with the other guest made for some fascinating conversations and connections. We could be social or as private at we liked with fantastically friendly staff and amazing diving at the world class Rainbow Reef. We really enjoyed having a single dive guide for the week of diving, as it made our experience more personal. Thank you again to Marina and her wonderful crew at Viani Bay. P.S. there were puppies!

Marina and her staff were wonderful and looked after us perfectly. Diving the rainbow reef is the best. The dive team were professional and the rented equipment well maintained. Quiet and peaceful with excellent Fijian food. Very highly recommended.

Viani Bay Resort is a lovely getaway situated in a gorgeous bay. Nestled in the hillside with swaying coconut trees and turquoise waters. Stay in the lovely bures, dine at the restaurant, dive, snorkel, hike, and immerse yourself in the Fijian culture. Marina provides excellent customer service and you will feel pampered during your stay. They grow many of their own vegetables, buy products locally, and are a sustainable resort running fully on solar power.
