Paradise Beach Hotel

This is a wonderful place to stay in West Bay. We came here for our honeymoon and we were happy with the service we received. All the staff are very friendly and attentive. We received amazing service from Edwin and Kimo! I would definitely come here again. The hotel is located a minute away from the beach and about 3 minutes from La Plazita.

The best thing about this hotel is its stellar location. It's a minute walk to the beach, with its own restaurant, pool and beach chairs. The room was very clean thanks to Helen. Also, Edwin provided us with exceptional service while eating at the restaurant. Kimo, Abraham, and Rigo are super friendly, they keep the vibe alive at the resort.! The staff that handles the beach chairs in specific Marvin are very attentive and will help you with whatever you need.

Stayed here on a business trip and the staff was friendly, helpful and professional, the rooms were well maintained and it was overall a great experience. We did some diving and used their dive shop and the team there was also excellent and highly recommended.

Recommended For a beach hotel, it's pretty good. Service Most of the staff are average, a few are friendly, like the bus drivers and those who serve breakfast in the restaurant. A few are unfriendly (not very helpful), like the security guards, but especially the lady who runs the souvenir shop. She's inattentive and lacks service. No hotel is perfect, but overall, the service is good, but not excellent. That's why I don't give it 5 stars. Food The food is very good. The breakfast buffet meets expectations. You can help yourself to anything you want, and there's a variety: eggs, hams, cheeses, fruits, juice, etc. The Cayuko restaurant also has good food options, such as seafood. Be prepared with good dollars because they charge 15% tax + 10% tip. These are not included in the prices; they're extra. Location Excellent. It's in the most exclusive location on Roatán. The beach in front of the hotel is spectacular: turquoise water, white sand, calm seas. In short, this part of the island is heavenly. If you want to do other activities on the island, like going to the glass boat (I recommend it, an excellent experience) or the Mayan Jungle Park (also recommended), etc., you can go to Roatán Activities. It's a kiosk located about 100 meters from the hotel on the beach. The best part is that you can negotiate the price with them. At West Bay Beach, you can find snorkeling, scuba diving, banana boating, and jet skiing nearby. It's the epicenter of fun. If you're going to Roatán, you have to go to West Bay Beach. Rooms Very good, comfortable, spotless, and very clean. Just as a suggestion, they should put a trash can in the room, because the only one is in the bathroom, and it's very small. Pool The pool has many steps below, so you have to be careful. It was also dirty and needs the water changed. Bus The shuttle offered to guests from the airport to the hotel and vice versa is very good; the drivers are friendly. It takes about 30 minutes or a little longer to get there, depending on traffic. Final Recommendations Ask reception for a map of the island; that will help you find your way. Or you can purchase a roaming package; the phone companies Claro and Tigo are available. Bring a pachón (water container) because there are water stations at reception and on each level where you can refill water bottles without extra charges. When you go out to explore the island, bring your pachón (your bottle). Bring sunscreen and mosquito repellent. We were lucky there were almost none, so we weren't bitten very often. I imagined I'd encounter more mosquitoes, but no, there were few. Don't snorkel or dive if you're not well-trained, because they take you out to sea to see the reef. The glass-bottomed boat is much more comfortable and safer; from there, you'll be able to see it in detail and take photos and videos.

Stayed for 5 nights for a mix of business + leisure. Hotel is set right on beautiful West Bay Beach. They provide lounge chairs and towels on the beach and there are lots of activities (snorkel, dive, jet ski, etc.). Easy walk through the beach to several restaurants and little shops. Room itself was simple but nicely decorated. Hot water lasted not more than 3 minutes in my room, I asked reception and they said this was normal for their hotel... The restaurant/bar is nice but the food was subpar in my view. Gym is also outdated.
