The Mango Inn is located on a peaceful, residential street only minutes’ walk from Utila’s ferry dock and 18 miles from the Honduran mainland port of La Cieba.
As the smallest of the of the Bay Island Archipelago, Utila offers divers the chance to visit 100+ dive sites less than 45 minutes from the dock. Choose from caves, wrecks, coral gardens and sloping walls with overhangs. The ecosystem is home to 65+ varieties of stony coral and over 500 species of fish. Whale sharks are spotted year-round.
Nestled amongst tropical trees and plants, the resort is comprised entirely of local wood. Each raised cabin offers a double bed, private bathroom with hot water, air conditioning, porch with hammock and lots of natural light.
The Mango Inn is home to the best pool on the island, set beneath a large mango tree and surrounded by wooden decking, sun loungers and tropical flowers.
The Mango Inn Bar & Grill is serves local and international food for breakfast, lunch and dinner, featuring weekly specials. Cocktails, beers, wines and liquors are served and the restaurant boasts its own pizza own. Complimentary WiFi is available.
