We usually get back to you within 24 hours to confirm that your booking is final

3. 48H FREE CANCELLATION PERIOD

You then have 48 hours to take care of other travel arrangements. Your credit card will only be charged after that period

Description

Gangga Diver's PADI 5* Star Dive Center is based on the beach at Gangga Island Resort.

The dive operation boasts international instructors with a wealth of local knowledge. Facilities include racks for gear storage, showers with hot water, training pool, equipment maintenance room, battery charging station, free WiFi, air-conditioning, fish ID books and a shop.

3 fiberglass purpose-built dive boats offer on-board toilets, powerful engines, towels, freshwater tanks for cameras, drinking water, warm drinks and snacks.

Daily dive trips depart in the morning, afternoon and night. A full range of recreational PADI courses are offered, including PADI Enriched Air Diver Speciality.

The dive center is a member of the North Sulawesi Watersport Association (NSWA) and committed to protecting the local reefs.

Resort Description

Gangga Island Resort & Spa is located in North Sulawesi, on the tip of Gangga Island. 

Access to over 30 dive sites around Bunaken National Marine Park, Bangka Archipelago and Lembeh Straits. These ecosystems offer pristine reefs, muck diving and rare species. Look out for eagle rays, tuna, sharks, bluering octopus, napoleons, turtles, nudibranchs, giant frogfish, pegasus sea moth, cockatoo waspfish and many varieties of eel. 

The resort is set within tropical gardens with palm trees, facing a white sand beach  with four poster day beds. The resort’s buildings are comprised of wood with thatched roofs and a large salt water pool overlooks the turquoise lagoon. 

Each guestroom comes with air-conditioning, a mini bar, TV, WiFi and coffee/tea making facilities. Evening turn-down, laundry and concierge and ticketing confirmation services are available. 

The open sided restaurant serves local and international delights centered on seafood dishes. BBQ and themed nights occur regularly and on-beach dining is offered. Coconut bar serves wine, beer, liquor and cocktails. 

Pasung spa, snorkelling, fishing with local fishermen, island tours, national park excursions and sunset cruises constitute the resort's activity offering.

How to get there

Arrival

  • The closest airport Sam Ratulangi International Airport (MDC) in Manado. 
  • The journey from Sam Ratulangi Airport to our resort typically takes around 75 minutes by car, followed by a 10–15 minute boat transfer from Serei.
  • The duration of the crossing may vary depending on weather and sea conditions, as well as your arrival time.
  • Flexible airport transfers from Manado are available.
  • For safety reasons and depending on weather and sea conditions, guests arriving on late evening flights are required to overnight in Manado before continuing to the resort the following day. Overnight accommodation in Manado is at the guest’s own expense.
  • If you arrange the transfer with the resort, there will be a member of the staff to meet you at the airport. They will have a paging board with your name on it.

Departure:

  • Once you have checked out at the reception your transfer back to the airport will be provided.
  • For departures, the earliest transfer from the resort leaves at 07:00 am, suitable for guests catching morning flights from 10:00 am onwards.
  • For early departing flights, it is recommended to leave the resort one day in advance and overnight in Manado to ensure a smooth and timely connection.
