Lembeh Dive Resort & Spa

Lembeh has the best muck diving in the world, the food is sensational, the pool and surrounds are beautiful. The staff especially the dive staff are excellent, very knowledgeable, interesting and willing to help with everything. The spa is simply stunning and the massage is a must. The afternoon trip to Tangkoku is a must do. We did the day long tour which was amazing and exhausting and exhilarating.

Outstanding service by all the staff, especially after my wife took a misstep on some stairs and hit her head when she fell backwards. This required a trip to the emergency room on the mainland. The resort provided water and ground transportation, and a staff member as an interpreter to help us communicate with the hospital nurses and doctors, as well as, the resort management called ahead to the hospital informing the emergency room personnel of our approximate arrival time, so my wife could be seen immediately. The food and service by all the staff during our stay, were top notch. At every turn, the staff was making sure our stay was the best it could be. The diving guides and boat crews were second to none. The best I have experienced in my years of diving.

Wow, what an incredible experience! I am a young ocean enthusiast, and if macro diving, muck diving, just seeing the teeny tiny beauties the wonderful Indonesia has to offer, Lembeh Resort is simply the best place where to go. Starting off with the Resort itself, we stayed in room 01, a wonderful and huge villa with amazing views on the Strait. The room was very clean, spacious, and well furnished. The outside shower is really nice to have, and also the bathroom in itself was large and had all the amenities. The resort is, in my opinion, the perfect size; not too large in that you have to cover huge distances to go and eat/reach reception, yet no too little to feel occluded and close-by to every guest. You completely have your privacy, with the comfort of reaching every angle of the resort within minutes! The restaurant is very spacious and it has a central location. It is very open, providing a 360° view on the entire resort, which is always very nice to have. The staff, is so so kind, always available and ready to fulfil every request, ensuring complete guest satisfaction. The chefs are simply incredible. You have a very large selection of different foods with a double focus: offer classic Indonesian recipes (which were all exceptional) as well as main dishes from around the world. I very much enjoyed this dualism as it always offered great food variety. Kathrine and Soléne were also amazing directors, always available and super nice to talk to. They always gave the sensation of being there for you, and most importantly, of being home. Every time they asked "how's your stay?" or "is everything all right?", they demonstrated genuine interest in the guest, which is always nice to receive. As a last note, if you're a youngster like me and happen to require strong wifi coverage to watch your favourite football team at 3 am, Lembeh Resort has got you covered! Talking about my favourite part of the Resort: the Diving. With the word diving I don't want to describe "only" the beauties that the Lembeh Strait has to offer, but my overall experience, which has for sure as a highlight the diving team and crew. First and foremost, it has been a true pleasure to come across Charly once again! We have previously met on a liveaboard in the Maldives, and seeing him again after 2 years has been super super nice! He is a great diving manager, able to communicate effectively and clearly with everybody, ensuring complete understanding of tasks; all with a very very contagious smile! I don't think it is a coincidence that we wanted to meet him again after these years have passed. My dive guides over the course of my 5 night stay have been Jefry and Ray (only for 3 dives). Jefry is such a nice guy. Despite my young age, he never allowed me to bring any of my equipment from the boat back to my locker, always did it for me, and his knowledge of the underwater world is absolutely insane (in a positive way of course). Same goes for Ray, with whom, despite having done only 3 dives, immediately built a great relationship. His only downside is that, being an FC Inter fan, he support AC Milan 😅. These were my two guides, but I must say that the overall dive team has been super nice with each and every guest during my stay. Always smiling, bringing great vibes and laughs. It has been my first time in Indonesia, and it sure won't be the last as I will for sure come back. The warmth all the staff over at Lembeh Resort gave me and my dad during our stay has been phenomenal and something I personally never received anywhere else. This is why I want to come back to do, hopefully, my divemaster course! It has truly been a great experience, I am glad to each and every single member of the wonderful Lembeh family, and I am sure we will catch one another again in the near future. Lembeh Strait is worldwide renowned for muck diving. And, it does not let you down! Dozens of dive sites, or best said a unique huge dive site, with an incredible variety of species and colors. Nevertheless, Lembeh Resort is not just muck diving. It's a cozy, clean and well equipped resort, with very nice food and very comfortable rooms. And, top-notch diving setup and organization, with the possibility of excursions offering diving experiences other than muck diving, along with the possibility to make your vacation an itinerary thru different resorts (Manado, Lembeh and Bangka). But above all, it's the genuine atmosphere generated by the people working in the resort, at any level and occupation, that really makes the difference. Always smiling and caring, attentive to all your needs or desires, making you feel at home after just few hours of staying. The diving staff is outstanding and with an incredible knowledge of marine biology. I a word, a truly nice surprise at all levels. We will certainly come back.
