Lembeh Dive Resort & Spa

This dive resort consistently receives- and deserves- superlatively high reviews so i will only add afew thoughts : Diving: All of the dive guides are well trained and enthusiastic. They get constant continuing education about the animals, the dive sites and even biweekly English classes. They share sightings with each other so there is no need to worry that you'll miss out with your guide. The boat crew will help you with your gear, handle cameras with finesse and provide pretty much whatever refreshments you might want between dives. This was our second time diving with Vadly, as well as Gelan and Randi as crew, and we laughed almost continually...an important part of a vacation! We highly recommend dusk dives for variety. Finally, if muck diving palls, don't hesitate to ask about taking a break to dive colorful reefs or pinnacles elsewhere north or east. Accomodations: Immaculately clean and comfortable. Views vary from soothing to jaw dropping per location around the resort. Excellent AC and water pressure. Dining: Better than ever with chef Fahmi. He is from West Java but has worked around Indonesia and has expertise in Western and various Indonesian techniques and ingredients. A cornucopia of fresh produce and a dizzying array of foods for carnivores, piscivores and vegans make meals a highlight. I highly recommend trying the Indonesian soups and porridges in the morning. A shout out to the ever-present, tireless Deky who helms the dining room. He knows all and can handle any requests and seems never to sleep! New Spa: WOW!! It is gorgeously designed , light- filled, serene and fragrant. My husband and I both had massages by Agris ,and as habitués of spas around the world, we can endorse her skills as transformative! Staff: Everyone is friendly and competent. Solene brings Gallic grace and charm to her work as Guest Relations manager. i haven't decided whether to praise or decry the way she learned of my perhaps excessive fondness for chocolate and making sure it was indulged at every turn, including on the dive boat! Imanuel in the office is on top of your trip from the moment you make your first booking inquiry. He and all the office staff can be entrusted with making all of your travel arrangements. He is a god in my eyes for the way he handled a last minute cancelation by LionAir, including much appreciated virtual hand holding through a nerve wracking snag in our itinerary. We also recommend VIP airport service to handle the sometimes hectic airport scene especially for a 5:30 AM check in time. All told, a world class and classy dive resort.

This was my 5th visit to Lembeh Resort, and once again, it completely stole my heart! From the warm greetings to the stunning views, everything about this place brings joy. The accommodations are true 5-star comfort, the food is consistently beautiful and delicious, and the resort staff make you feel like part of the family. And what makes Lembeh Resort even more magical is diving in the Lembeh Strait with the knowledgeable and helpful Critters@LembehResort team. I did 61 dives on this trip with OpoK as my private dive guide, who is incredibly skilled, patient, and has an amazing eye for spotting even the tiniest critters, which made every dive a new adventure! If you love scuba diving and want to be surrounded by people who genuinely love what they do, you will be smiling from the moment you arrive until long after you leave. Lembeh Resort truly is the happiest place on earth—especially for macro photography divers like me!

Just got back from 6 nights here. What an amazing slice of paradise. We went for a diving holiday. The resort is beautiful and the staff are just the nicest people ever. The diving is amazing and our dive guide Tian was just totally awesome. The whole setup for diving is seamless, and every detail is thought about. The facilities here are second to none. Our room was a garden view. The room was beautiful and well equipped. The food is amazing for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The dive centre is well set up and has a camera room, and they also have a camera shop on site with Lawrence, who is super helpful. I can't praise the staff enough, from the gardeners to the chefs to the front of house, reception, dive centre, and dive boat staff. They all made this holiday the best ever. We will definitely be back. What an amazing place with amazing people. A massive thank you to everyone single member of staff that work there. Everything you all did made this beyond perfect!

The rooms were clean uncomfortable. The food was amazing, with lots of variety. While I wasn’t expecting it, they also offered Prosecco!!

Incredibly delicious food at EVERY meal. A huge selection for breakfast and lunch buffets, everything prepared fresh, moist, tender and perfect, and special chef additions, cooked to order, also offered at the buffets. Plated evening meals also Michelin Star quality, in our "foodie" minds. Dive service was spectacular, we've been diving for 5 decades and nothing has been better than the Lembeh team, super attentive and friendly and great "critter" finders. Enjoyed our balcony view room. LEMBEH RESORT IS AMAZING. (It's that simple.)
