Amilla Maldives Resort and Residences

We come to the Maldives every year and this is the fourth time we visited Amilla which is our Paradise on earth. As always everything was perfect and very well organized. From the arrival in Male, the transfer to the seaplane airport, the lounge, the seaplane flight and finally the arrival at Amilla. We felt so welcomed by everyone that we were in holiday mode from the first second. We really love the reef villa which is very spacious and has a direct access to the reef. The restaurants are one of a kind and the food quality is outstanding. Not to forget the beach barbecues. But the main asset from Amilla are the people. The people really make the difference and everyone is making the island so special with the outstanding guest service attitude. With a special thank you to Nappe and Saddi. We hope to come back next year!

Every place is created by people. We have been coming to Maldives every year, we always travel to hotels 5 stars, luxury goods places. And we return only to where there is a soul. My beloved Amilla is proof of this. Now is the fifth time. Cool reef, good and spacious villas. This is wonderful, but it will not replace human presence. Sincere service, care and attention surround you at every step. Cleanliness is everywhere, the quality and taste of fresh food, the skill of the chef! Breakfasts that you wait for. And delicious coffee, sparkling wine, various fermented drinks, local greens and fruits for every taste, cheeses and local specialties and of course the freshest fish, lobsters and seafood. A good spa. An artist with whom you want to draw. And again, the attitude. And they also save and strengthen the island. A lot of work has been done in a year. The ultimate luxury hideaway. If the Maldives is a pearl necklace in the Indian Ocean, Amilla Fushi is undoubtedly one of the brightest. The trip completely upended my imagination of an island holiday, with every detail interpreting “luxury” and “heart” from the moment of arrival. **Perfect blend of privacy and nature** The island's design is dominated by minimalist modernity, but subtly incorporates traditional Maldivian elements. The **water villa** we stayed in had 270-degree sea views, an early morning open eye to the fading jelly sea, and coral reefs and wading fish beneath the glass floor seemed within reach. The combination of a private pool and terrace makes every moment ritualistic, and the romance of "isolation" is thoroughly understood at night when you lie on a net bed and watch the stars. **A round-the-world trip for taste buds** As a food lover, the dining experience is stunning. The main restaurant, **Feeling Koi**, combines Japanese cuisine with Peruvian innovations, with tuna tata and beef sushi for an evocative touch, while the treehouse restaurant, **The Baazaar**, resembles a Southeast Asian market, with freshly roasted lobster and spice curry instantly rousing taste buds. The butler also customises private dinners to his liking - steaks on the beach with candlelight and waves are unforgettable memories. ** Philosophy of service beyond expectations** From the intimate arrangements of Nina, the exclusive butler (even remembering my habit of drinking coffee without sugar), to the exquisite little gifts that surprise the room every day, the service team truly does it “invisible yet everywhere”. Snorkelling instructors patiently guide novices, spa therapists use natural essential oils to let me sleep in the coconut grove sea breeze, and even the staff cleaning the room fold out playful animals with towels - a warm human touch far more touching than hardware. **Sustainable luxury concept** What I admire most is the island's commitment to the environment: coral restoration projects that allow snorkeling to see large areas of living coral, restaurants that reject plastic, and even villas built from renewable sources. This awe of nature balances enjoyment with responsibility. If the Maldives is a honeymoon paradise, Amira Fuji has redefined high-end vacation with its artistic sense and human service - a perfect chapter for couples, families and solo travelers alike. Looking at the fading sea level as I left, I knew that this blue dream would eventually bring me back again.

We left our hearts in Amilla! The resort is incredible: great staff, great food, wonderful and clean houses and a beautiful, beautiful relation between the structure and the incredible nature around. We loved all of that: our permanence in Amilla will last as one of the best trip memories of our lives. Amazing service even for the kids: our son (3 years old) was so confident there, because of the competence and the tenderness of the whole "children staff". Thank you for everything!

On arrival at Male we were greeted by the resort and escorted to the sea plane check in and the resort lounge. On landing we were picked up by speedboat and were greeted by the staff on arrival and taken to our villa. The villa was spacious and very comfortable and every day was kept immaculately clean. The restaurants were fantastic what sticks out was the Maldivian food night 👌 The island was lovely with beautiful beaches. The blue hole experience is a must. Nice bar with dj sadly very quiet. Top marks for the staff and Hajar who looked after us. Overall fantastic experience.
