Once we receive your booking, we double check availability with the dive operator and reserve your spot

2. CONFIRMATION

We usually get back to you within 24 hours to confirm that your booking is final

3. 48H FREE CANCELLATION PERIOD

You then have 48 hours to take care of other travel arrangements. Your credit card will only be charged after that period

How to get there

Arrival

  • The best airport to fly into is Velana International Airport (MLE) in Malé.
  • After clearing Immigration and Customs, proceed to the Crown & Champa Resorts counter (#B9) in the Arrivals Hall, where a representative will assist with your seaplane or domestic transfer check-in.
  • Seaplane Transfer
    Jawakara can be reached by a scenic 35-minute seaplane flight operated by Trans Maldivian Airways (TMA). After check-in, guests are transferred by shuttle (approx. 10 minutes) to the Noovilu Seaplane Terminal, where they may relax in the MACL Vilu Business Lounge (complimentary on arrival). The seaplane is typically scheduled to depart within 1–2 hours of guest arrival at the airport.
    Seaplanes operate only during daylight hours (approx. 06:00 to 18:00)
    To ensure connection, international arrivals must land between 06:00 and 16:00
    If arriving after 16:00, guests must overnight in Malé at their own expense and transfer the following day
    Luggage allowance is 20 kg (checked) + 5 kg (hand); excess is charged at USD 5/kg + tax
  • Domestic Flight + Speedboat Transfer
    As an alternative, Manta Air offers domestic flights from Malé to Madivaru Airport, followed by a speedboat transfer to Jawakara.
    Domestic transfers are available day and night and should be requested at least 7 days in advance.
    Domestic schedules are confirmed 3 days before travel and subject to operational changes.

  • In case a domestic flight is not available, seaplane transfer will be required
  • Luggage allowance:
    Economy Class: 22 kg (checked) + 5 kg (hand)
    Business Class: 35 kg (checked) + 5 kg (hand)
    Excess baggage fees apply at check-in
  • Vilu Business Lounge
    On departure, guests may use the Vilu Lounge (USD 45 per person) for up to 3 hours, including snacks, internet, international TV, newspapers, and a children’s area.
  • Check-In at 2:00 PM. Early check-in may be available upon request, dependent on availability, and may incur an additional fee.

Departure

  • Check-Out by 12:00 PM (noon). Late check-out can be arranged subject to availability
  • Departure flights from Malé must be after 09:00 to allow for same-day seaplane transfer
