Scandi Divers Resort

As an AOW diver with fewer than 20 dives, I truly appreciated the well-organized dive schedules and the neat, thoughtful management here. The all-girls dive group I joined had an average dive time of 50 minutes—super satisfying! Huge shoutout to DM Mike for being so professional and thorough with his briefings & fish identification and to the dive crew for being incredibly helpful—even drying our fins before we left. The housekeeping and meal services were tidy and comforting, adding to the overall relaxing vibe. Such a talented and dedicated team. Thank you all for making this trip amazing! 💙🌊

This dive trip was certainly THE best we've taken so far, and we've been to a few places. From the first day, right up to the last minute service was over the top! Everyone was friendly and accommodating. The food was great, and the give you choices for breakfast lunch and dinner! Wow, not all places are like that. And then. Of course there's the diving! Wow! I needed eyes in back of my head. Every day there were SO many fish. Like being in a over crowded fish tank! Rex, our dive master was awesome! Was on his A game Every day! The room was very nice with great views. Very comfortable. Living out of my suitcase was just fine. There was room to hang a few things, but no dressers. Not necessary. Comfy and casual is what it's about. I was very the day we left. Wanted to stay. Accidentally left my phone on the coffee table at the reception area and Maxine noticed and they were able to get it back to me before the boat took off. All I can say is I wanna go back!!!!!!

We didn't book any accommodations and managed to get one, a suite with three bedrooms that suits us as a family. Unfortunately, the air conditioning in one of the rooms went dead during our first night so the whole family had to merge into one room. We asked for a discount of the astronomical charge out rate of P20k per night for the three bedroom suite. The place is perfect for divers. A place by the sea.

Every aspect of our stay, the room, food, diving, service, you name it, it was excellent or better. This is the best diving I've ever experienced. The boat was right there on the beach, our gear was loaded for us, the marine life was so varied and abundant it was ridiculous. Boat crew, gear handlers, divemaster, all professionals, every day. I need say no more. I'm one of those "hands off me" guys. I only said it once. Never saw any gear being mishandled, and due to previous experiences I watch. Stopped watching after day 3... The room was clean. We had a penthouse room, so it was bigger than most, but was also the farthest walk. The shower was awesome. The shower head was at 7 feet. Plenty of hot water and a drain that worked. The AC worked well. The bed was very comfortable and the sheets were soft. The towels were better than I have at home. Outlets are "fits all". The food was excellent. Only one night did I not care for the menu board options, so they made me a fantastic cheeseburger. There are some things I just don't eat. Service. All the various things come down to service. Nothing here was ever less than excellent. First day to the last. When they say "Mabuhay!", they obviously mean it. Have you ever seen contempt behind a smile? I have, but not here. It's like we were the reason for them being here.. Everybody! Everyday. After my 18th and last dive, I tried out the bar. Again, three Mai Tais mixed perfectly and as good as they went down, they were beautiful to look at. They took such good care of us, it was almost embarrassing. I could get used to that... I was sad to leave... I took lots of pictures and videos underwater and a few topside. I can't say enough. This place is a team of very good people doing their best to give you the best experience possible. I hope to return.. I'm not sure a non diver would feel the same. It's a dive resort, not a beach resort. Technically I guess there's a beach.. not much of one. There was a nice looking TV in the room. I never tried it.

Accept that the only thing basic is the toon and you will be ok. Reception and service are 100%. Food is excellent and the dive team are first class. You don’t see the back room team but everything just works. Such a gentle and welcoming people that we could all learn from. Customer service at its best and always with a smile. This was my second time here and I will be back next year. Also the diving is excellent. Bob. 😎
