The Andaman Sea has some of the richest marine biodiversity, coupled with some of the clearest waters, in India. Please note that long boat trips to the faraway sites, if interested, will incur an additional charge of INR 1,180 to be paid on arrival.
Our boat trips typically start in the morning. To save time then, we suggest dropping by the dive shop the previous day before 7 PM to get your equipment sizing and paperwork done. This will allow your Instructor/Divemaster to ensure that all your equipment is already loaded on the boat and ready to leave upon your arrival.
You will meet your dive leader in the morning if you haven't already, and she/he will help you suit up and brief you on the dive sites, emergency procedures, hand signals, etc. The dive sites take about 10-20 minutes to reach. You will dive at any two of Oval Reef, Red Lighthouse, Pilot Reef, Slope, or The Wall.
If you want to dive at the faraway sites (40 min to 1 hour boat ride) like Johnny's Gorge, Dixon's Pinnacle, Jackson's Bar, etc., you must be at least Advanced certified and be willing to pay additional INR 1,180 for the long boat trip; these trips will be subject to the open sea conditions that day.
The marine life is diverse at our dive sites, from large schools of trevallies, snappers, and fusiliers, to big fish like barracudas, Napoleon wrasse, humphead parrotfish, and more. You can also spot octopuses, stingrays, moray eels, frogfish, cuttlefish, crocodile fish, and the occasional turtles.
We have some very passionate PADI Instructors/Divemasters who will make the fun diving experience personalised, special, and particularly memorable for you.
