The Island of the Gods boasts many beautiful temples but have you ever seen an underwater temple with a tank on your back? If a huge artificial reef just off the shore isn't your cup of tea, maybe navigating your way along the vertical coral walls of Menjangan island piques your interest. Meet the elusive Spanish dancer and coral catsharks on a night dive exploring the barrier reefs.

Dive spots with zero to mild currents are perfect for seasoned instructors, experienced divers and absolute beginners, and water temperatures generally range from 28 to 30°C.

What to expect

We meet at 7:45 am at Easy Divers, do the paperwork and choose the equipment. Before a short van ride, we relax in our garden with some ginger tea and discuss the dive plan. The boat ride to the island takes around 30 minutes. After doing the first dive, we have a break on the island and move to a different location for each dive. Lunchtime is flexible, either after the first or the second dive. You can expect to be back in Pemuteran at 4 pm where you'll be served coffee or tea so that we can chit chat about our day and share our experience.
