As with any animal in the wild, some days you may see one manta ray, another day you may see twenty! Manta rays are very friendly and enjoy the company of good, calm and non-hunting divers. They often rush in to investigate, shaking with excitement as the divers' bubbles tickle their bellies.
Once you have met with your instructor or divemaster, they will guide you through the entire day.
Start by filling out all the formalities and follow up with preparing your equipment for your fun dives. Once everything is done, we wait for the porters to carry the equipment to the boat.
It takes about 1 hour by our dive boat to get to Nusa Penida Manta Point from our dive base in Padangbai. Manta Point is one of Bali's best diving spots as it attracts manta rays all year round. The waters are rich in plankton, which often fascinates the magnificent seabirds to eat. But our Manta Point also functions as a cleaning station, which is a great advantage for those divers who like the opportunity to see manta rays from really close distances and in very calm behavior. Most of the time, manta rays just circle around you like in a ring of fire. The scene is simply incredible and the image of this magical animal will stay with you for the rest of your life.
The second dive will be conducted at Crystal Bay or other dive sites on Nusa Penida depending on sea conditions.
After the second dive we return to the diving center where you can use our facility with freshwater shower. Before a nice lunch menu in our resort restaurant, you will have time to log your dives and go through the fish book with your instructor so as not to forget how many fish and other sea creatures you have seen.
Once you are in Padangbai just come to our dive center which is located just few steps from the main jetty on the main beach of Padangbai.
