You will get picked up at your hotel (free transfer zone applicable) in the morning around 7.00 am and pass by our dive shop to prepare the equipment. When ready, you will head to Tulamben by Atlantis bus.
Once in Tulamben, you will first do a pool session to learn the basics and be ready to enjoy 2 dives in the area, one including the famous USAT Liberty wreck and the second one depending on the conditions of the day.
You will have lunch at our partner restaurant in front of the beach with all the commodities accessible to our guests.
The USAT Liberty, a United States military cargo ship, was torpedoed by the Japanese while stationing off the strait of Lombok which was beached onto the shore of Tulamben.
In 1963, the earthquakes caused by the volcanic eruption of Mount Agung pushed the ship into the sea where it sank onto its side and was forgotten until the early 1980’s. During the last 50 years it remained underwater, and a marine life of all colors, shapes, and sizes have colonized the 120 metre- long vessel.
After the dives we will bring you back to your hotel around 6-6.30pm.
We take care of everything, you just need to think about your sunscreen and swimming gear!
