Two of our favourite dive sites! We will explore the intricate volcanic rock formations with two swim-throughs whilst following a reef border. Then, we will travel a short distance to dive with beautiful large Atlantic sting-rays.
Once you arrive at the dive centre you will have the chance to have tea or coffee while trying on your rented equipment or setting up your own gear. After all the equipment is ready, we will take you through a briefing presentation covering the day's dive sites, the marine life you should expect to see and the safety procedures.
When we reach the marina, the boat will be loaded with your kit and we set off on our 8m sports RIB to the first site. Following a short 5 minute boat ride, we anchor next to a coastal lighthouse around 6m and gradually descend to 18m, noticing the amazing changes in volcanic rock formations as we get deeper. For Advanced Open Water or Deep Divers, we have an opportunity to extend the depth to 30m/40m. For all divers, we can enjoy two natural swim-throughs.
After the first dive, a minimum surface interval of 1 hr is made on the marina where you can enjoy a hot drink or local tapas at the cafe. We provide drinking water on board during the entire trip.
The second site we visit is right outside the marina, only a short distance to see some amazing marine life. This dive is one to remember with large Atlantic sting-rays, barracudas and schooling fish swimming around you. Make sure you bring your camera!
At the end of the trip, you can have a warm shower and dressed at the Marina to return to the dive centre for logbook updates, teas and coffees.
Hotel pick up is available if you are too far away from the dive centre or do not have your own transport. Pick up and drop off points are agreed once the booking is made, usually just outside your hotel. The areas that we offer free pick ups are Adeje, Arona and Guia de Isora. We can also offer pick up service outside these areas at an additional charge.
