Half-Day Dive Trip

Calypso Dive Center is the only 5* PADI dive center in the area of Maspalomas and operates on fish-rich sites like the El Cabron Marine Reserve.

Calypso Dive Center has been in Maspalomas in the south of the island since 1996. You'll find the dive center at the frontside of the Hotel Dunas Mirador Maspalomas Sonnenland, where they offer a wide range of PADI courses and dive sites ranging from beginner Marine Reserves, abundant in marine life to deep shipwrecks for the more advances.

The ocean in the Canary Islands is heated by the gulf stream in the Atlantic, which prevents the water from falling below 18ºC during the winter. The volcanic rock has been eroded in many of the dive sites to create spectacular underwater arches, passageways and arches, sculpted by the waves when sea levels were lowest during the last ice age. In short, it's a magical place to dive.
