PADI 5 Star Dive Center

Leagues Ahead Diving in Playa Del Ingles is a premier scuba diving centre and is the ‘go to place’ for all Scuba Diving and Snorkelling excursions in Gran Canaria. Leagues Ahead Diving is a new diving centre in Playa del Ingles that combines outstanding customer service, exceptional safety regulations and a fun and relaxed atmosphere to ensure your underwater adventures are unforgettable. 

Our dive centre in Gran Canaria is owned and managed by young, interpersonal and dedicated PADI diving instructors who conduct one on one training and carry out qualified dives in small and practical groups in the crystal clear waters of Gran Canaria. We cater for every diver from beginner to a professional level and adapt the dive to suit your needs!

Requirements

  • Minimum age: 12+
  • Min. certification: Open Water Certification required
  • Min logged dives: None
  • Please note that a medical form must be completed upon arrival, a ‘’YES’’ answer to the medical form means you will have to consult your doctor before partaking in any diving excursion. Please contact us if you wish to see the medical form before booking. All certified divers must have their own valid and up-to-date diving insurance. We can provide daily, weekly or annual insurance for a very small fee if you do not already have your own. A Surface interval of 12 hours is necessary before flying after one dive and an 18 hour surface interval is required after two dives.

What to expect

During your certified diving excursion with Leagues Ahead Diving, you will be guided by our PADI professional dive guides on some of the best dive sites that Gran Canaria has to offer! 

Gran Canaria has a wide array of dive sites that are suited for every level of diver with each dive site offering a rich diversity of marine life and stunning underwater rock formations.

 A scuba diving certification license is required for this excursion. If you do not have your card or temporary card our instructors are able to find your credentials on the PADI Pro website. We also accept digital verification of any certification that is not PADI.

Complimentary hotel transfers start at 8:00am. We can collect you from any location in the South of Gran Canaria.

You will be transported to our dive center to complete the paperwork and try on your top of the range equipment. 

We will then drive to the dive site in our top of the range van with air conditioning. 

After the first dive we have a surface interval and then jump back in for a different entry point/route. 

We will then transport you back to your hotel for 2:30pm

Pick Up Information

We collect clients from all hotels and private accommodation in the South of Gran Canaria, including Playa del Ingles, Maspalomas, Bahia Feliz, San Agustin, Puerto de Mogan, and Puerto Rico to name but a few. Please let us know the name of your accommodation in the check out page, we will then arrange the collection for you and re-confirm the time of collection.

The dive center will reconfirm your pick up time and location at the latest one day in advance

Cancellation policy

  • Full refunds will be issued for cancellations made at least 24 hours prior to the activity
