Diving in the Boreas wreck. 5 minutes sailing from Gidive Center Palamós and a few meters from the Llosa de Palamós we will find the Boreas. The Boreas is a 40-meter-long ship, which was sunk in 1989 in order to create a marine biotope in the waters of Palamós.
We will begin the dive by descending the rope located at the bow of the boat, about 22 meters away.
Upon reaching the end of the cape we will go directly to see the propeller located 32 meters deep.
From here, we will ascend to the aft deck where we will begin to visit the different confined spaces starting with the hold, there we will find an air chamber.
We will continue through the engine room, passing through the kitchen and ending in the captain's cabin, where we can see the bathtub.
There are other rooms that are more difficult to access and of little interest to the diver.
To finish, we will visit the entire deck of the ship, looking for some conger eel hidden in some of the infinite corners that the Boreas offers us.
Remember to check your computer often, as it is easy to go into decompression.
