What to expect

Once your reservation is confirmed, you’ll receive a detailed email with important links for completing liability waivers and clear, step-by-step directions to your meeting point at Koloa Landing.

When you arrive, our team will have everything prepared and ready to go (unless you’re bringing your own gear). You’ll be greeted by our friendly Divemasters, who will provide a detailed briefing covering safety guidelines, dive plans, and equipment use.

After gearing up, you'll enter the calm waters of Hanaka’ape Bay. Your two-tank dive will cover both sides of the beautiful “U-Shaped” Reef—each offering unique marine life and colorful coral formations. Expect to encounter Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles, Moray Eels, Scorpionfish, Octopus, and countless tropical fish!

Plan to spend approximately 4 hours from start to finish, including preparation, diving, and relaxation time. Get ready for an unforgettable Kauai diving experience!

How to get there

**DO NOT SIMPLY SEARCH OUR LOCATION, YOU WILL END UP AT THE WRONG PLACE!! PLEASE FOLLOW THESE DETAILED DIRECTIONS OR SIMPLY CLICK THE "GET DIRECTIONS" LINK!** ***Please Note: If you have to drive from North through the town of Kapa'a/Wailua, please plan an extra 30-60 minutes of drive time ADDITIONAL to what Google Maps Says!!*** ***(IN ADDITION, THERE IS LOTS OF CONSTRUCTION ON KAUAI FROM MARCH - NOVEMBER 2025, YOU WILL NEED TO PLAN AHEAD TO ENSURE YOU'RE NOT LATE!!!)*** **CHECK-IN IS 15 MIN BEFORE THE SCHEDULED START TIME!** Chances are you are not the only people on the dive tour today, please don't make other people who were on time wait for you. (We may not be able to wait for tardy passengers and will be considered day of cancellation) **If you don't have a smart phone: ***USING THE TRAFFIC CIRCLE IN POIPU AS THE BEGINNING POINT OF REFERENCE*** Take the SOUTHERN exit of the traffic circle following signs to "SPOUTING HORN". IMMEDIATELY take your first LEFT onto Hoonani Road. DO NOT TURN YOUR STEERING WHEEL ON THE CAR, you will literally run right into the dive site entrance. If you turn your wheels you have passed it. Look for a telephone pole with a dive flag (red & white) that says "Koloa Landing". This is the dive site. The parking is up top by the telephone pole. Walk down the dirt path towards the water and meet your staff wearing **BLUE SHIRTS** with the Dive Kauai Logo.
