Package description

Requirements

  • Minimum age: 10+
  • Min. certification: Open Water Certification required
  • Min logged dives: 4 logged dives required
  • Diver must provide their own pumpkin which must be brought to the site already cleaned out. Diver must also supply their own carving tools for underwater pumpkin carving (same as above water)

What to expect

Divers Must provide their own scuba gear. Orientation starts promptly at 10am.   Scuba Gear can be rented at the site but supplies are limited. You need to provide your own, cleaned out pumpkin and your own carving utensils.  Once orientation is completed divers must dive with their complete pumpkin (lid included) and carve away underwater.  Once you surface the pumpkin must be turned in.  This is a one tank deal.   At the announced time, later that day, judges will look over the pumpkins and annouce the winners.   It will be a great day of diving no matter how you look at it.

The dive site is along the east side of the quarry at White Star Park. The orientation to the underwater Pumpkin Carving Contest is at the scuba concession located at the PIN
