Diving at White Star Quarry is considered to be the best inland diving that Northern Ohio has to offer.

The Staff of Divers Incorporated - White Star are outdoor enthusiasts, nature lovers and Divers, just like you. Like you, we want a place to dive that is local, convenient and understands that recreational activities are important to us. We also want a place where we can bring our non-diving friends and family with us, without having to pay to have them sit and watch. You are welcome to bring friends and family (and even your dog) at NO CHARGE! This is just one of the things that makes White Star different from other quarries, there is only a fee for Diving and Swimming.

The PARK Hours are Different than the SHOP hours. Please Read Below.

The Quarry is open for diving every day on a self-serve basis from 8am - Dark April 1 - December 31
The Concession is open Weekends on Select Hours from May 1 - October 31 (see website for specifics)
The Concession is open Wednesdays from 10am - 2pm Memorial Day through Labor Day
The Concession Contract does not allow them to answer questions about the beach.

Minimum age: 12+
Min. certification: Open Water Certification required
Min logged dives: 4 logged dives required
Diver's Last logged dive should be within the last 6 months

What to expect

If you are renting equipment, please give yourself extra time to come by and get what you need from the scuba concession. The park also has a permit you need to fill out but this permit price is included in the guided dive price.
