Kata Bay, named SE Asia top beach dive site has three dive sites just a short walk in. It is a nursery with great marine life to see & enjoy for all levels. This is one of the best dives for macro photographers looking for the cool & weird critters.
We scheduled 2 or more day dives and one night dive daily for Kata Bay. Morning dive meeting time is 8AM, afternoon dive meeting time is usually 1PM (depending on tides) and night dive briefing begins at 6PM. All divers meet at our 5 STAR Dive Center in Kata Beach town, a short 7 minutes walk from the dive site entry point. The total dive plan is usually two hours for set-up, briefing, transport to dive site and 1 dive. All divers return to dive center for debriefing and logbook signing after the dive.
Our PADI 5 STAR IDC Center is located inside the Beach Center (look for PADI Flags and signs), 100 meters from the Beach Height Resort & Spa. The location is easily found on Google Map or WAZE.
