Come experience top-class valet diving with us in the protected marine reserve with healthy coral and large schools of reef fish! Warm Caribbean waters are perfect for the recreational diver looking for a large variety dive sites (Wrecks, reef, archeological). Relax at the dive shop for your surface intervals and discuss the many marine sightings
Arrive at the dive shop your first morning about 45 minutes prior to the first dive. Bring your certification cards, proof of dive insurance, a towel, and a re-useable water bottle. You will complete your liability forms and get set with any rental dive gear is needed.
We have free wifi and drinks for purchase. Restrooms and restaurants are located directly across the street.
We will provide a briefing of the dive shop, staff, the boats, and the dive plan and site prior to leaving for the dive. All of our dive sites are reached by boat and most are within 5-15 minute boat ride.
Statia has over 30 dives sites, most of which are on a mooring which allows for controlled descents and ascents and prevents anchoring damage to the reef. Only one dive boat is allowed on a mooring at a time so you will not interact with any other dive groups.
A majority of our dive sites are in the reserve as coral encrusted lava flows, but Statia boasts a huge variety of dive sites including new wrecks, muck dives, isolated rock outcropping, wall dives, and unique to Statia are the archeological dive sites with old relics of the ship trade days of the late 1700 and early 1800's!
The Charles L. Brown wreck is the largest reason to come dive in Statia. She was voted top wreck dive in the Caribbean!
Between dives we return to the dive shop where we have drinks for purchase and a small snack while looking up the many creatures that we found in the books. Then we brief for the next dive and head out for the second morning dive of the day.
Both morning dives are typically completed by 13:30 then you can head out for lunch.
Most of the dive sites are a minimum of 60ft/18M with steep ascents/descents so we highly recommend using Nitrox for your dives for safety and to improve your no decompression limits. We are happy to get you nitrox certified while you are here diving with us!
The island is very small so you won't get lost! We are located on the south end of the bay next to the Boardwalk Cafe and across the street from the National Park Headquarters
