This dive package can be used at any One Ocean Zanzibar dive centre: Stone Town, Kendwa or Matemwe.
How are our trips organised?
Our boats take both divers and snorkellers and we are going out for two dives a day with a surface interval spent on the boat, in which we provide local snacks, fruit and water. The boats leave in the morning and are back early afternoon.
Stone Town
Our traditional dhow boat leaves from our dive centre, located at the bottom of Kenyatta Road, at 9:00 in the morning (meeting time 8:30). The boat is usually back at the dive centre by 13:30.
Kendwa
Meeting time is in the morning (between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.) and we are back after 5-6 hours (between 1:30 p.m and 4:00 p.m.), depending on the tide.
Matemwe
We leave early in the morning (meeting time 8:00) and are back early afternoon (between 13:00 and 13:45) depending on the tide. Because of the big tidal changes, we frequently travel to another beach by bus to meet the boat. It’s a quick, easy drive on an excellent road.
