The Kreidsee in Hemmoor, Germany is an exciting dive site.
This flooded quarry is ideal for technical diving. The visibility is always good and it is also 'light' underwater at depth. It is very easy to get to greater depths, which is why it is a very suitable dive site for technical dives. Underwater there are some buildings that you can swim through, a 2-engine plane, a truck, etc. etc.
The maximum depth is around 58 meters, which is also ideal for completing technical courses.
The regulations on site require equipment of at least a 15 liter bottle with double taps and regulator with separate 1st stages. A dry suit is highly recommended.
Minimum certification level is Advanced certification.
