- 48 hours after booking confirmation: 50 % (downpayment)
- 90 days before trip start: 100 % (balance)
Cancellation terms
Free cancellation for 48h after confirmation (except for last minute bookings)
30 % of the total booking amount will be charged if you cancel more than 120 days prior to arrival
50 % will be charged if you cancel between 120 and 89 days prior to arrival
80 % will be charged if you cancel between 90 and 59 days prior to arrival
100% will be charged if you cancel less than 60 days prior to arrival
Good to know
Your passport must be valid for at least six months beyond the date you plan to return home from your trip
It is your responsibility to review and meet the visa/immigration requirements
Dive accident insurance (to include medical evacuation) is mandatory for everyone who dives: it's your responsibility to have adequate cover in place and to bring your certificate as proof
All diving passengers must provide their dive certification card and their logbook: minimum 30 dives
Dive computers are mandatory: please bring your own or arrange with us in advance to rent one
It is your responsibility to ensure you are fit to dive: some liveaboards require you to produce a medical certificate, often dated under two years or under a year, proving you can dive safely
The route of the trip and the dive program are indicative, and can be changed by the organizers depending on weather conditions and in the interest of the safety of the participants of the trip.
Taxes, levies, or surcharges, if applicable, are indicated in the Online Booking System during the checkout process for informational purposes. Supplements, government taxes, marine park fees, fuel surcharges, harbour fees, rental equipment and other upgrades or surcharges are subject to change at any time pre-booking or post-booking
In case of a rescheduled booking or a rebooking to a new dive operator, any payments made for the original booking are non-refundable. Beyond that the cancellation terms apply.
Divers must now have their diving license (hard copy or digital)
If you have any specific dietary requirements (religious beliefs, food allergies, vegan) whilst on-board please inform us on the moment of booking.
Logistics
Day 1
Transfer from Hurghada to Port Ghalib. Check in time to the boat at 16:00. Dinner on the boat. After dinner everybody is invited to the Oldies Party “Let’s mingle” in the middle deck: enjoy great music, gin & tonic, share stories, ask questions, and get to know your buddies on this adventure.
Day 2
In the morning, after finalizing documents with the coast guard, the ship goes to sea. We will have 2 Check-dives in the area of Marsa Alam. Coast sailing in the direction of Saint Johns Island. Dinner. Overnight.
Day 3-5
Diving at St. John area. The amazing reefs are waiting for us: Habilli Ali, Dangerous Reef, St. John´s Caves, Um Orouk, Habili Gaffa. Sailing to Fury Shoal. Dinner. Overnight.
Day 6
Diving on the reefs of Fury Shoals, Sataya. The Fury Shoals are one of the most beautiful coral reefs full of life with opportunity to spot White and Gray tip Sharks. Sataya is the largest reef in the Fury Shoals and home to a population of dolphins. Night dive. Sailing to Marsa Alam. Dinner. Overnight.
Day 7
This day we do 2 dives on Elphinstone reefs. One of the most famous and beautiful reefs of the Red Sea where sharks can be observed. Elphinstone is elongated in shape, resembling a cucumber, with steep walls on the north and south sides, at a depth of 60 meters turning into a plateau.
After dinner everybody is invited to our “Farewell House Party” on the middle deck: great music, dancing, alcoholic drinks. An amazing atmosphere where we can all share the incredible emotions lived on this trip.
Day 8
Check out time is 09:00 after the breakfast, big hugs to everyone and time to say "See soon again". Transfer to Hurghada from Port Ghalib.
