Dive the world-famous wrecks of Chuuk (Truk Lagoon)!

One of the results of Operation Hailstone, a WWII battle in which American fighter planes surprised a large fleet of Japanese ships moored within Chuuk's large, sheltered lagoon, was to leave behind one of the world's largest concentrations of recreationally diveable wrecks in the world.

Payment terms

Payment is required to guarantee a reservation. Arrangements are not held prior to payment being received
Within 60 days of departure - Payment in full is required to confirm a booking
More than 60 days prior to departure - Deposits can be arranged in some cases with all balances due a minimum of 60 days prior to departure. Please contact for more info

Cancellation terms

More than 60 days to departure: MDA cancellation fee of $100 per person in addition to the cancellation policies/fees of all operators involved in the booking. This includes but is not limited to: Airlines, hotel operators, tour operators, and liveaboards
60 days or less to departure: No refunds. This includes disruptions due to weather, illness, canceled/delayed flights, and all unforeseen circumstances outside of MDA’s control or responsibility
Travel insurance is recommended for all trips. MDA does not promote or recommend any particular insurance agency, but can provide links by request to sources that may assist you

Chuuk is most easily accessed via United Airlines flights originating in Guam or Honolulu
Flights available 4-5 times per week
*Tip - Easily combine your trip with island destinations Pohnpei and/or Kosrae using United's "Island Hopper" flight, which connects Honolulu and Guam.
