Cancellation terms
###Cancellation by Participant:
Participant may cancel the Trip in writing to Scuba.com with at least 120 days prior to the start of the Trip. Upon timely cancellation, Scuba.com will refund all monies paid. Participant acknowledges and agrees that group scuba travel and excursions are highly specialized trips that must be planned and prepared for well in advance. As a result, cancellation less than 120 days before will result in a 50% cancellation fee of the base fare of the trip, and 90 days before the trip date, regardless of the reason, results in the forfeiture of all monies paid. No credit for future trips or refunds will be offered.
###Cancellation by Scuba.com:
Scuba.com reserves the right, but is not obligated, to cancel a Trip at any time for reasons related to political unrest, pandemics, terrorist threats or adverse health conditions in the Trip location or travel warnings by the U.S. Department of State related to the Trip location, or because of inadequate enrollment that makes the Trip economically infeasible to operate. Upon such cancellation by Scuba.com, its liability shall be limited to a refund in full of only those monies it has received from or on behalf of the participant. It is the responsibility of each Participant to become familiar with the penalties and restrictions of any airline ticket. In the event of a cancellation or date change by Scuba.com, Scuba.com is not liable for any penalties incurred from the cancellation or change of the air ticket.

About The Vessel
The Turks & Caicos Explorer II liveaboard was designed to be a luxury yacht/charter dive boat. Designed from the ground up in 1995, she was purchased by Explorer Ventures and put into operation in the Turks & Caicos Islands in February 2005. Equipped with Naiad stabilizers and a heavy keel, she serves well as a Turks & Caicos liveaboard and does well on longer, open-water excursions to the Silver Bank, 80 miles north of the Dominican Republic.
The luxury liveaboard vessel carries up to 20 passengers and 8 crew. All staterooms throughout the vessel have port lights or windows, individually-controlled air-conditioning, and private ensuite bathrooms.
Logistics
Arrival Airport: Providenciales International Airport (PLS)
The boat is currently scheduled to depart from the Marina at South Bank (Caicos Marina and Shipyard), Providenciales at 3pm on August 2nd. You should chedule your flight’s arrival with enough time to get to the marina and board on time. Please note the vessel may depart early due to tides or weather and the exact departure location might change.
If you are staying on the island, please check in with the vessel on Saturday morning to determine when and where to meet the boat. If you are arriving on Saturday, you will be met at the airport by a local driver who will be aware of the boat’s location (transfer is at an additional cost). If you are not met at the airport and are unsure where to meet the boat, simply ask your cab driver to call the boat’s cell phone number or VHF Channel 16 and ask for instructions. Cab fares can vary but generally are up to $45 each way for up to 2 people, and up to $25 for each additional person. We will provide the boat’s cell phone number prior to departure.
The Turks & Caicos Explorer II arrives back in Providenciales midday Friday and docks until Saturday morning. Transportation will be provided for a casual dinner on Friday evening. Passengers stay aboard the boat ends at 9am Saturday. There will be enough time to catch a flight out on Saturday.
