What to expect
Most of the time the water around the Bahamas is very warm and usually clear and pristine. Underwater visibility is frequently at 20-30m.

About the Sea Explorer
The liveaboard Sea Explorer is 66 feet (20m) long and 20 feet (6m) wide. Detailed attention has gone into the design of Sea Explorer. The liveaboard Sea Explorer's mission is to make the guest forget that they are on a boat, by offering the best there is in diving and spare-time activities. The ship is a gorgeous liveaboard Yacht, built to venture the high seas and set to delve into the secrets of Neptune's realm in the Bahamas.
Accommodation arrangements onboard include 18 Bunks with a maximum of 22 guests, catering for Singles and Couples in air-conditioned areas of the boat. Berths are Single Upper and Lower, or Double Upper and Lower, each with its own privacy curtain similar to a sleeperette on a train. There are no cabins, all berths are dormitory style. Berths are 74″ in length, with doubles 48″ wide and singles 24″ to 36″ wide.
Blackbeard’s Sea Explorer is a great example of an affordable liveaboard. Affectionately described as “camping on the seas”, snacks, fresh fruit hammock and buffet meals eaten picnic style with dormitory style sleeping accommodations.

The liveaboard Sea Explorer sets itself apart because you can enjoy great food from a buffet. 3 complete meals are served daily, as well as snacks and fresh fish in season.
We serve typical American fare - Baked Chicken, Pork Loin, Lasagna and Meatballs, with all the sides and dessert too! Meals are served buffet and eaten picnic style. There is always a hammock of fresh fruit for those in between meal snacks.They are also offering snacks all day, Vegetarian and Gluten free food.
Between dives, guests rest in quaint comfort in the air conditioned lounge area complete with television for watching movies. There is also room on the spacious liveaboard deck for lying in the sun or a shaded area to take an afternoon siesta.
They supply everything you need for your dream liveaboard dive vacation except personal dive equipment and towels. No matter if you are a new or an experienced Diver, they can accommodate you. They offer 'Introduction to Scuba' courses as well as Basic, Open Water and Advanced certification courses.
