The New Sambo is a modern Red Sea liveaboard offering unforgettable diving adventures to some of Egypt’s most renowned sites, including Marsa Alam and the remote St John’s archipelago.
Completely renovated in 2024, she combines bright, contemporary interiors with comfort-focused amenities for up to 20 guests.
Accommodation consists of 10 air-conditioned cabins with ensuite bathrooms, storage space, and tea/coffee facilities. Six Standard Cabins with twin side-by-side beds are located on the lower deck, while four more are on the upper deck. The boat also offers express check-in/check-out, allergy-free rooms, and facilities for disabled guests, ensuring a smooth and inclusive experience for all.
Social spaces include a stylish indoor dining room and salon, an inviting outdoor lounge and bar on the upper deck, and a spacious partially shaded sun deck with loungers. Guests can also enjoy a BBQ area, outdoor dining, and yoga sessions between dives. The onboard restaurant serves African cuisine alongside vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options, with buffet and continental breakfasts available daily.
Diving itineraries focus on the vibrant reefs and marine life of the southern Red Sea, from the caves of Umm El Khararim to the pinnacles of Gota Kebira and the dramatic walls of Rocky Island. Expect encounters with dolphins, reef sharks, turtles, and pristine coral gardens, a world-class experience for divers of all levels.
