SS Thorfinn is a fully outfitted liveaboard that has welcomed divers to the pristine Micronesian seas since 1981.
The service emphasizes flexibility and convenience. Guests can board or depart on any date, with fast launches offering seamless airport transfers and transport to and from shore facilities—avoiding the need for accommodations ashore unless the ship is fully booked. The unique Airport-to-Airport program also adds up to 1.5 extra dive days for the cost of just one additional day onboard.
Recent updates include the installation of solar panels combined with advanced lithium metal-ion battery storage, which provides silent overnight power and improved overall energy efficiency on board.
Guests enjoy a spacious dining lounge for 22 with chef-prepared meals, a comfortable salon equipped with entertainment systems, outdoor relaxation areas, a large seawater hot tub, and a sundeck with shade canopies. The vessel offers ten air-conditioned staterooms accommodating up to 20 guests, with some cabins featuring private bathrooms.
Diving operations are supported by two 10-meter launches with twin 150 hp engines, plus two additional fast boats to access a wide variety of dive sites. Facilities include camera workstations, rinse areas, air and technical filling stations, separate boarding points, and assistance from experienced local guides.
