Aqua Tiki II operates as a liveaboard in Tahiti. Indeed, the beautiful sailing catamaran offers scuba diving cruises inside the Fakarava Biosphere reserve.
What you can expect
The Aqua Tiki II is a catamaran in the style of Eleuthera. It reaches more than 18 meters and can accommodate up to 9 passengers in complete comfort. The catamaran style allows for effortless movement in seas of any condition. You’ll feel right at home in French Polynesia on this luxurious and intimate liveaboard.
Divers have access to a range of amenities. These include two trampolines at the front of the catamaran for catching the sun rays, a spacious Saloon with a Dining Area, a reading Lounge, a Cocktail Bar and a Shaded Cockpit with an open-air table and a BBQ grill.
A lot of entertainment options on the Aqua Tiki II help Divers pass hours above the water. The spacious Lounge features a TV with plenty of DVDs as well as a reading library with fish identification books. Sun-seekers will find themselves gravitating to the two coveted trampolines at the front of the catamaran. The enclosed lagoons will also Kayaking and Big Game Fishing.
Because of the relaxed schedule of diving, several Land Excursions are possible. You might have the opportunity to sunbathe on deserted beaches, learn about the area’s famous Black Pearls or shop among locals on remote islands. Remember that the itinerary of this liveaboard is customizable. If you wish to go ashore frequently, inform the crew. They will do everything in their power to ensure your wish is fulfilled.
Because of the intimate nature of this liveaboard, no internet connection is provided on the ship
There are 5 sleeping spaces on the Aqua Tiki II. 9 guests can be accommodated, but only 8 Divers are permitted per trip. The two Honeymoon Suites feature Double beds and are located at the front of the ship. The one Twin Cabin provides two Single beds for individuals. Finally, the VIP Suite boasts an Island bed, a TV, DVD-player and one cocktail drink each evening. An economic area is also available. This is simply one bed at the front of the nose with access to a shared bathroom on the starboard passageway. Do note that this is not a proper cabin.
All of the private cabins also feature air-conditioning for three hours each day, private bathrooms with hot water and a radio with an iPod connection.
Food and beverage
While traveling with the Aqua Tiki II, you will be treated to delicious meals morning, noon and night. A dedicated hostess takes care of preparing and serving each of these meals to your table. Snacks and hot drinks will also be provided throughout the day.
All tea, coffee, meals and snacks are included in your stay, juices, soft drinks, local beer & wine, alcohol, mineral water are available to purchase onboard. Some packages may also include cocktails to enjoy after the diving has finished for the day.
Throughout the journey, you will be served a variety of Local and Western cuisine. You can enjoy your food in the spacious indoor dining area or outside under the covered cockpit. There is also a plancha grill for an occasional BBQ party.
