The luxurious and intimate KLM Sunshine offers divers an unforgettable journey to remote dive sites aboard a traditional Indonesian Phinisi.
Hand-built from wood in South Sulawesi, this liveaboard has been providing personalized tours to Indonesia's hidden gems since 2011.
Designed by the owners of Blue Bay Divers Resort, KLM Sunshine accommodates just 8 guests in 4 comfortable cabins, ensuring an exclusive experience. Each cabin, whether on the Upper or Lower Deck, features a double berth, air-conditioning, and en-suite bathrooms. Given its popularity and limited space, booking early is recommended.
Onboard, guests can relax in the air-conditioned restaurant, shaded and open sundecks, or the cozy 'chill-out' area. The chef and crew take pride in serving delicious meals that are as vibrant as the diving, with a buffet-style spread for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, plus all-day snacks. Vegetarian and dietary options are available with advance notice. All food, snacks, soft drinks, coffee, and tea are included, with beer and wine available for an additional fee.
KLM Sunshine offers ample space for relaxation between dives, whether you're watching DVDs in the restaurant, browsing the fish ID books in the library, or simply sharing dive stories with fellow guests. The crew also organizes land excursions, such as snorkeling over shallow reefs or relaxing on pristine beaches.
Note that KLM Sunshine is a Nitrox-only boat, so divers will need a Nitrox certification to participate. If you’re not yet certified, you can complete the course at Blue Bay Divers Resort before your trip. Daily housekeeping is provided.
