La Galigo Liveaboard is a traditionally built Phinisi sailing yacht crafted in 2012 by South Sulawesi artisans, designed by a passionate diver with liveaboard comfort and functionality in mind.
This 33-meter, two-masted vessel combines Indonesian maritime heritage with the needs of today’s divers, offering year-round cruises to some of Indonesia’s richest marine regions, including Raja Ampat, Komodo, Halmahera, and beyond.
Accommodating up to 14 guests, La Galigo features seven spacious, air-conditioned cabins with en-suite bathrooms and deep sprung American-style mattresses, available in twin or double configurations. For those seeking added comfort, ‘The Suite’ offers a private lounge, HD TV, refrigerator, and a large balcony with panoramic ocean views.
Diving is the heart of each journey, with up to four dives a day including night or sunset dives, Nitrox, full equipment rental, and expert guidance. A large dive deck and camera station are located at the stern, providing ample space for gearing up and managing photo equipment. Between dives, guests can join land excursions such as village visits, beach barbecues, and treks to explore local landscapes and wildlife.
Onboard life is equally rewarding, with international and Indonesian cuisine served in the main dining area, which also features a large TV, book collection, and power outlets with international sockets for charging laptops and camera gear. Outdoor spaces include a breezy lounge with bean bags and a rooftop deck with alfresco dining and 360-degree ocean views, offering the perfect place to unwind at the end of each day.
