MV Mermaid II is a 33-metre twin-engine steel motor yacht designed for comfortable liveaboard diving throughout Indonesia.
Accommodating up to 20 guests in 10 air-conditioned cabins, the vessel offers spacious diving facilities together with comfortable indoor and outdoor areas for relaxing between dives.
Accommodation includes 8 Deluxe Cabins on the main deck, each with large panoramic sea-view windows, individually controlled air conditioning and an en-suite bathroom. The Deluxe Cabins can be configured with a double or twin beds. Two Budget Cabins are located on the lower deck, each with twin bunks, air conditioning and a vanity sink, and share a bathroom with the adjoining cabin.
Divers benefit from a spacious dive deck and wide stern platform with two exit ladders and freshwater showers. Individual gear boxes, camera tables and multiple rinse tanks provide plenty of space for equipment and underwater photography gear. Nitrox is available on every cruise for an additional charge.
Meals are served buffet-style in the indoor dining room, with a combination of Asian and Western cuisine. Between dives, guests can relax in the spacious air-conditioned saloon with multimedia entertainment and a marine life library, or choose between two outdoor areas: a shaded lounge with cushioned seating and a sundeck for enjoying the scenery. Starlink satellite internet is available onboard, with a complimentary 3GB data plan provided to each guest and additional packages available for purchase.
Following recent upgrades, Mermaid II features refreshed cabins and interiors alongside improvements to onboard systems, safety equipment and guest facilities. The vessel operates a diverse range of itineraries across Indonesia, including Raja Ampat, Komodo, Banda Sea, Alor, Halmahera, Lembeh and the Forgotten Islands.
