The Pearl of Papua is a 30-meter traditional Buginese schooner designed for diving expeditions in Raja Ampat, Indonesia.
Since 2021, the vessel has undergone extensive renovations, with the latest upgrades completed in January 2026. Major improvements include a fully renewed hull, upgraded lounge and indoor restaurant, and structural enhancements that elevate both comfort and functionality. Two brand-new upper deck cabins with panoramic glass windows have been added, while the Trevally Deluxe cabin has been expanded and redesigned to provide increased space and a modernized bathroom. Lower deck cabins have also been improved, with new direct indoor access to the lounge and restaurant for greater convenience in all weather conditions.
Accommodating up to 15 guests, the yacht offers seven cabins, including two master cabins with double and single beds on the upper deck, a suite, and four standard cabins on the lower deck, all equipped with en-suite bathrooms and air conditioning. The vessel features a spacious dive deck with individual gear stations, rinse tanks, and three tenders for efficient access to dive sites. Onboard amenities include an air-conditioned saloon with entertainment facilities, a sun deck with loungers, and a spa cabin offering massage services. Meals are served buffet-style, featuring a mix of Indonesian and Western cuisine, with snacks available throughout the day.
Diving itineraries typically range from 6 to 10 nights, exploring renowned sites such as Cape Kri, Chicken Reef, Sardine Reef, Mioskon, and the Penemu Islands. Nitrox is available for an additional fee, and rental equipment can be arranged. A professional crew of 12, including experienced dive guides, chefs, and support staff, ensures smooth operations and a comfortable onboard experience.
