The MV Amba is a well-established comfort-class liveaboard offering high-quality diving experiences in the Maldives.
Designed for divers with 30 or more logged dives, the yacht accommodates up to 20 international guests and is managed by experienced German and Italian cruise directors, ensuring professional operations and attentive service throughout each voyage.
The vessel is 31 metres long with a wide 10-metre beam, providing excellent stability and generous living space. From September 2026, the yacht features upgraded accommodation including premium upper deck cabins with private decks, an additional upper deck cabin, and comfortable lower deck cabins, all equipped with en-suite bathrooms, individually controlled air conditioning and additional fans. The vessel has undergone significant refurbishment, including a fully renovated upper deck and a redesigned, spacious air-conditioned salon to enhance guest comfort.
Three freshly prepared international meals are served daily in buffet style, featuring Western, Asian and authentic Maldivian cuisine made with fresh ingredients. Complimentary drinking water, tea, coffee and juices are included, while alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are available 24/7. The onboard culinary experience is led by an experienced kitchen team including a European head chef.
The upper deck offers a sheltered outdoor lounge area and multiple relaxation spaces, while the spacious sun deck provides the perfect place to unwind between dives. Guests can also enjoy freshly tapped beer, fine wines, cocktails and long drinks at the yacht’s sky bar areas after diving.
For diver safety and comfort, the vessel is equipped with modern dive facilities including the ENOS Diver Locator system, providing enhanced surface monitoring and safety. The MV Amba operates a variety of itineraries across the Maldives, including northern, central and southern atolls, as well as extended 12-day expeditions, allowing divers to explore some of the country’s most spectacular and diverse dive regions.
