Since 1993 Horizon III staff have worked and lived in the Maldives and guide the guests to the best dive sites in all 26 Atolls.
Horizon III is a 35 meters long, 9 meters wide fibre glass twin engine yacht, built in 2007 and is undergone a major renovation recently . In March 2009, it started it's first Maldives liveaboard diving trip; this boat offers the best budget dive liveaboard trips in the Maldives.
Horizon III has 12 spacious cabins, it can accommodate up to 24 guests on board: All cabins are equipped with en-suite bathroom, individually controlled air conditioning, storage area and other cabin facilities.
There is a fully equipped Bar which offers a variety of soft drinks, selected wines, sparkling wines, beers and liquors.
There is a light and airy Restaurant with large opening windows. A buffet style meal is served 3 times a day. Tea, Coffee, hot and cold water free of charge are available throughout the day. Our kitchen is well known for a variety of dishes including many fresh items like Salad, fresh Fruit, Vegetables that are used in fabulous Continental and Local menus.
Horizon III offers its light, airy, relaxed and comfortable atmosphere, and provide a high level of cleanliness and a home from home.
The interior design is light and clean with wooden flooring throughout. There is an indoor Lunge which is complete with a Dining area, LCD TV, DVD player, music system and a library with lots of books and board games.There is an additional camera storage area, where each guest has shelf for personal items and charging points for torches and cameras etc.
In addition, there are 4 different large Outdoor Sundecks for guests to spend time on their own, guests can relax and 'chill out' on the lounge chairs with mattresses in the shaded area, or enjoy sun bathing. There is an outdoor Jacuzzi, so guests can relax in the water while enjoy the most amazing view.
All diving is done from the dive dhoni boat, which provides comfort and functionality at the same time. All the equipment stays in the dive dhoni (compressors, tanks etc.) in order to keep the noise away from the main boat when filling the tanks.Recently has been purchased a brand new dive equipment and Nitrox is available for certified divers.
