Originally crafted in 1968 as a research vessel for Perry Oceanographic, the Nautilus Under Sea underwent a transformation in 2017, skillfully refitted by the Undersea Hunter Group to become a splendid liveaboard.
Despite being smaller than some of its counterparts, the Nautilus Under Sea generously provides ample space for both the dedicated crew and eager divers. Passengers are afforded various areas to unwind and relish the maritime journey, including a top-level Sun Deck adorned with comfortable chairs and loungers, an air-conditioned Dining Room and Lounge, and the enchanting bow of the ship, which offers breathtaking vistas and occasional glimpses of playful Dolphins trailing the yacht's wake.
Accommodating up to 18 guests in total, the Nautilus Under Sea's 8 cozy cabins cater to diverse preferences. The Lower Deck houses 6 cabins, where 5 feature a Queen-size bed and an optional Single upper-bunk, while one cabin boasts two Bunk Beds. All Lower Deck cabins are equipped with a single porthole. The Main Deck is home to a Quadruple Room, providing the comfort of 4 Bunk Beds. Additionally, one Premium Suite, located on the Upper Deck, features a luxurious Queen-size bed and is adorned with three portholes, offering an exquisite and unobstructed view of the surrounding sea. Each stateroom on board includes thoughtful amenities such as personal hanging lockers, en-suite bathrooms, air-conditioning, and cozy carpeted floors, ensuring that guests find solace and relaxation in their private abodes.
Feasting onboard the Nautilus Under Sea is a culinary delight with a delectable fusion of Mexican and West Coast North American cuisine. Guests enjoy a pre-dive continental breakfast with freshly baked goods, fruit, granola, cereals, yogurt, and refreshing juices. After the first dive, a mix of buffet and cooked-to-order breakfast items are served, including eggs, omelets, french toast, pancakes, burritos, muffins, and more. Lunchtime brings delightful salads, soup, deli-style sandwiches, pizzas, tacos, burgers, fajitas, tostadas, quesadillas, and lasagna.
