MV Bavaria is a 28-meter steel liveaboard operating in the Andaman Sea, purpose-built by a seasoned dive professional to offer both comfort and reliability.
The boat accommodates up to 24 guests in 12 cabins. All cabins come with individually adjustable air-conditioning, and most feature en-suite facilities to ensure a comfortable experience throughout the trip.
The spacious dive deck is located on the main deck and includes equipment storage, freshwater hoses for rinsing gear and cameras, and a dinghy for easy transfers to dive sites. Certified divers can enjoy Nitrox, supplied by two onboard Bauer compressors and a Nitrox membrane system.
MV Bavaria operates from October to May, offering liveaboard trips ranging from three to six nights to premier dive sites in Thailand’s Similan and Surin Islands, as well as to Myanmar’s Mergui Archipelago. Groups are kept small, with four to six divers per guide to ensure a safe and personalized experience.
Guests can relax between dives in the indoor air-conditioned lounge with TV and sound system or on the shaded outdoor dining deck. A large sundeck provides both sunny and covered areas with comfortable seating. Meals are served buffet-style with a mix of Thai and international cuisine, and dietary requirements can be accommodated with advance notice.
The vessel is powered by two HINO 480 HP engines and features advanced navigation and safety systems, including GPS, radar, sonar, satellite communication, life rafts, oxygen, and fire detection. Wi-Fi is available when in signal range, and additional conveniences include rinse tanks, charging stations, and adapters for different plug types.
Every guest booking a liveaboard trip on MV Bavaria will receive a free, high-quality aluminum drinking bottle on board, supporting an eco-friendly approach to reduce single-use plastics.
With dive courses available from beginner to advanced levels, MV Bavaria is suited for all levels of divers, offering a well-organized and enjoyable liveaboard experience in some of Southeast Asia’s most stunning marine environments.
