The Phinisi, officially known as ‘Cheng I Sao’ from November 2018 onwards will be offering liveaboards in Thailand. From next year, an exciting new destination Myanmar’s Mergui Archipelago will be added to the schedule.
The Phinisi is a 34 metre custom built diving yacht of traditional Indonesian gaft rigged Phinisi style with 7 sails. She hosts 18 guests in 7 en-suited cabins. The main deck features a large indoor salon with comfortable sofas and personal storage, charging stations for your electronics and a media center for listening to music or watching a video of your day’s diving. There is a dive deck and an outside dining area with bench seats, complete with refreshment making facilities for relaxing and dining. Upstairs is the large half-covered sun deck with cushioned loungers for après dive cocktails.
The food served on board is plentiful, delicious and freshly prepared in our well-equipped kitchen. Look forward to a mix of international and Asian cuisine served buffet style. The crew can also cater to special dietary requirements is advised in advance. A range of carbonated soft drinks, fruit juices, black, green and herbal teas are available. There is always a tasty bite awaiting the guests when they surface! Guests may select beer, wine or spirits from the cocktail bar for an additional fee.
