Requirements

  • Minimum age: 8+
  • Min. certification: None
  • Should be comfortable in the water. Bring your own snorkeling equipment but we also provide if you don't have any equipment.

What to expect

Meet us at the dive center and our guides will go over an introduction about the local marine flora and fauna in the Arabian Gulf at sites like Ras Gurab.

We'll also cover snorkelling tips and get you to gear up. We will go out on the boat and cruise to a nearby snorkeling site to discover the local flora and fauna.

Snorkelers will have a chance to see snappers,  hammours, sea breams, angelfish and butterfly fish. On the way to the site, there are always chance encounters with dolphins and turtles. Some light refreshments and beverages are available on the boat. 

Make sure to bring your camera and/or GoPro and sun protection if you are not used to having plenty of sunshine. After a nice snorkel experience the boat captain will cruise back to the dive center.

Guests can go to the Beach Rotana, Bodylines Beach Club entrance and then go towards the dive center by the beach.
