Come experience one of Bali's most famous dive locations, with our English-speaking Snorkelling Guide! Bali’s Manta rays are here year-round. The sandy bottom is at 12 metres but the Mantas are usually between the surface and 5 metres depth.
My air-conditioned minibuses (custom-made to carry max 6 guests – other people squeeze up to 12 into the same space) will transfer you from your accommodation, to Padangbai on Bali’s east coast where my boats are moored (they’re known to be the best in Bali!).
Upon arrival, we’ll discuss the plans for the day, and you’ll pre-order your lunch. Time to embark! Walk down the beach, and pass your bag to my boat crew so it is easy for you to jump on-board. All 3 of my boats are equipped with toilets and have hot chocolate, tea, coffee and free-flow bottled water. You will receive a numbered beach towel for the day. Make yourself comfortable and let me know if you have any questions.
Once we arrive at Manta Point, I’ll explain how to use your snorkelling gear, and how to kick more effectively with your fins (use less energy!). We will go at your pace, it’s only you and me so no pressure to hurry as I am extremely patient!
Back on-board, you might like to use the sun-deck where you can relax (and refuel with large amounts of Vitamin Sea!). There are usually two long periods of snorkelling but we can get back on the boat any time you want :-) then it’s back to mainland Bali for our delicious lunch.
Our free transfer area is South Bali; Nusa Dua/Sanur/Kuta/Legian/Seminyak/Canggu and East Bali; Padangbai, Candidasa. For transfer outside these areas an additional fee will apply.
