Puerto Rico Diving is a small, friendly, family-run PADI 5* Dive Centre, located in Puerto Rico Gran Canaria. We pride ourselves on offering fun, personalised scuba diving in Gran Canaria with high standards of safety.

At Puerto Rico Diving you are guaranteed exceptional customer service, experienced PADI instructors, small groups and most of all, a fantastic underwater experience at one of our many dive sites.

We offer a wide range of PADI courses from Try Dives for beginners, entry-level courses such as the PADI Open Water Course and continued education courses such as the PADI Rescue Course. We also run weekly snorkel trips for those who wish to explore the clear, blue waters of Gran Canaria from the surface. At Puerto Rico Diving we have staff who speak English, Spanish, French and Italian.

It is of the utmost importance to us that every aspect of your scuba diving in Gran Canaria is as relaxing as possible. This is why we conduct all of our activities in small groups and offer a free pick up and drop off service from your accommodation in the south of Gran Canaria.

What to expect

To start we will either pick you up from your accommodation (free pick up available from costal towns between Puerto de Mogan and Maspalomas) or we will meet directly at our dive centre. Prior to your snorkel trip we will have sent you a check in form so all of your equipment will already be ready to go!

Once ready one of our experienced instructors will drive you to the site, this is always chosen on the day to make sure we are taking you to the best location based on the weather. We will then help you get ready with your wetsuit, fins, mask and snorkel before a detailed brieifng explaining what is going to happen. You will then enter the water directly from a beach and follow your instructor as your swim on the surface looking down at the magical underwater world as you go. During your 1 hour in the water you may see marine life such as cuttlefish, octopus, parrotfish, barracuda, trumpet fish, damsel fish and if you're lucky stingrays. Your instructor will point out many of these for you along the way to make sure you don't miss out. Once finished in the water you will get try and get back in the van ready for us to drop you back off at your accommodation.

We offer a pick up service from all accommodation in the southern costal towns between Maspalomas and Playa de Mogan. After booking, we’ll contact you to confirm your pick-up details. Pick-up starts up to 45 minutes before the start of your diving experience, with the exact time confirmed the day before diving. Please wait on the roadside unless told otherwise.
