We run daily dive & snorkel excursions from Playa Chica in Puerto del Carmen. Apart of offering plenty of dive sites Playa Chica also has a protected bay with shallow reefs, perfect for snorkeling.
After meeting the Snorkel guide explains how to use the equipment and gives information on the marine life that can be seen.
Once everybody is dressed, we will enter the water whilst walking in from the beach. After first getting climatized in the shallow water, we will then take you on a full snorkel excursion out of the bay.
Being in the water is a new experience for most, take it easy and relaxed. Within a small group you will be introduced how to snorkel and you will explore the incredible underwater world of Lanzarote. Your guide will be on your site and helps you spotting amazing aquatic life such as barracudas, sea breams, groupers, crabs, rays and many more.
Learn how to prepare and use your snorkelling equipment correctly and be safe in the water. Snorkelling skills include surface swimming, finning techniques and clearing water from your mask and snorkel. The wetsuit keeps you warm and helps you to float effortless on the surface.
The snorkelling program is an introductory experience, not a certification course.
You will be in the water approximately for one hour. Our guides point out marine life for you, show you how to duck dive (if you feel comfortable trying) and share their passion for the underwater world with you.
The duration of the full activity is about 2-2,5h and includes equipment, insurance and some water & cookies after the excursion.
