What to expect

We will welcome you at Marina Los Peines pier at 8:30 a.m. Our departure is scheduled for 9:00 a.m. Upon arrival, you will sign a waiver and receive a complete briefing on your snorkeling activity and the rules to follow at the Islands. The boat ride to Islas Marietas takes approximately 1 hour. Once we arrive, we will provide you with your snorkeling gear. During winter, we recommend wearing a wetsuit, which will be supplied by our company.

You will have ample time to practice snorkeling at two different spots, always under the supervision of our specialized guides. Access to the "Hidden Beach" is regulated by park rangers and depends on the tides. Our boat will also take you around the two Islands to appreciate the beauty of this protected natural area and admire the beautiful blue-footed booby bird and other bird species.

During the trip, we will provide water, sodas, fruit, and ham and cheese baguettes. If you have any dietary restrictions, please let us know so we can customize your lunch box accordingly.

We will be back at Marina "Los Peines" at 2:30 pm, depending on ocean conditions.

You will need to bring extra cash to the pier, to cover your park fee, it is $180 MXN.

How to get there

Marina "Los Peines" is located between Navy Hospital and Condominium Puerto Iguana, around 5 minutes south from the International Airport of Puerto Vallarta. All local taxi drivers know this pier. Silent World Divers is not responsible for taxi fares. Occasionally, other pickup points may be arranged for private groups. Arrive at the pier 30 minutes before your tour. No-shows are non-refundable. If you're running late, call us at: 📞 +52 322 294 0608 📞 +52 322 135 6468 Travel Time From downtown Puerto Vallarta, allow at least 30 minutes to reach the pier. Allow more time if coming from farther areas north or south. Restrictions on our boats: No alcohol or flammable liquids onboard. All tours are non-smoking. Port Entry Instructions At the entrance, mention: Tour Company: Silent World Divers Boat Name: Mundo Silencioso or La Patrona Federal Parking & Pier Fees: If arriving by private vehicle, turn immediately left at the main entrance, pay $25 MXN parking fee at the white kiosk.Walk out, turn left, and follow the sidewalk to the main gate and waiting area. A Silent World Divers representative will meet you there. At the port entrance, you’ll also pay a Federal Pier Tax of $41 MXN per person (cash only). This fee is mandatory, collected by the government, and not included in your tour price. Children under 8 and cruise passengers with ID are exempt.
